The first can be called devil's advocates. Even in the house of God where The Holy Book says judgement will start, they already stand accused, simply waiting for eternal araingment.
The second are the hypocrites. Proverbs 26:25 says "when he speaks fair believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart"
They are into eye service. I call them "eye service providers" The eyes and ears of their pastors. They can pretend, even if possible deceive the President founder or General Overseer himself. The second are core errant rebels.
Again the second category, the errant rebels knew what God's word says but because they lacked grace and strength to keep God's word, which Christ readily supplies if only they are sincere and humble enough to ask Him, they rebel. They resort to questioning the scriptures and it's established divine orders.
Funny enough these two categories of people are products of church and ministries that approach the gospel of Christ with condemnation all in the name of holiness preachings!
Instead of emphasis of the foundations of holiness, such as Christ power to save from the guilt and power of sin at salvation, which was His core purpose of manifesting, I John 3:8b, Matthew 1: 21.
Plus the reality of new birth and new creation status of a saved man or woman being radically changed into another man even by the power of The Holy Ghost. ISamuel 10:6. Then building on these two structures by consistently infusing knowledge of NEW CREATION MENTALITY AND CONSCIOUSNESS inside believers under their watch and care. Peter said "add to your knowledge faith...." All through his epistles Paul kept jerking up believers with "know yẹ not....."? Just to remind believers of their new creatures in Christ. II Corinthians 5:17.
And when these two categories of believer can take no more of this "Bible on the left hand, cane on the right hand" of these preachers of condemnation, they split into two groups. 1. Pretender hypocrites and 2. Rebels!
Pretenders manage to fool their pastors so they can divert his attention from themselves to others for Sunday and midweek floogings! Rebels outrightly dare their leaders and teachers and if possible God Himself by attacking His Word and teachings. 
So they become the devil's advocates. Generating needless confusions and doctrinal controversies in His body. For just no cause but their ignorance of His grace to supply them ability to do what God and His word says. Which their teachers failed to teach them, but kept flogging them every Sunday like Balaam his errant donkey.
We are not on the side of either of these two categories. But we would leave God to allow the sins of these first category hypocrites to find them out some day. Then rather focus on these devil's advocates as occasion demands, to keep crossing their paths, not by arguments and conflicts. But saying it is, as in explaining it as it is. NOT explaining it away as they would have want to, what God says on any issue of life that comes out of a heart kept with pure diligence. 
Call it setting the records straight on any issue they controvert.
And by His grace, we have committed ourselves on this blog channel to issues that are frequently evaded since many of these issues raised are from debates and arguments and some sensitive.
And since we not here to argue with any, we will continue to state the position of things in the light of His word, in answer their often asked questions.
We are therefore their exact and diametrical opposites. The reason we branded ourselves Christ Advocates.
Yes, making a case for Christ on issues of life.
